Mazda RX-7 - coming back in 2017

Mazda RX-7, one of the most known cars from that era, is set to come back in 2017.

Nobuhiro Yamamoto confirmed the rumors at the launch of revamped Mazda MX-5 in Australia that RX-7 is coming back in 2017. It will be revealed on the 50th anniversary of the first Wankel engine model from Mazda, the Cosmo Sport in 1967.

The 1.3-liter Wankel was placed in a history when Mazda announced the end of production of RX-8 model this year. For RX-7 in 2017, they are developing 1.6-liter engine, which was unveiled few years ago, but it wasn't used in any Mazda model so far.

2013 Maserati Quattroporte - official reveal

The cover is off and the new, 6th generation of Maserati Quattroporte is revealed.

This is how Lorenzo Ramaciotti, head of Maserati Design Centre explains the new design:
"Its style was born out of the guiding design principles of Maserati: harmony of shapes, dynamism of lines and Italian elegance. More generous in size when compared to the previous model, the new Quattroporte has a design that is at once graceful and sinuous, fashioned to bring out the sporty nature of the car."

2012 VW Beetle - Limited edition 53 ''Herbie''

VW has decided to make special limited edition of the new Beetle just for Spain, called the 53, based on the Walt Disney movei ''Herbie''.

It will be painted in white color with famous blue and red racing stripes over then hood, roof and sides, the "Escarabajo" written on the rear (Beetle in Spanish) and of course, the big 53 number on the hood.

Additional features will be 17'' light alloy wheels, tire pressure monitor and Park Pilot assist.

2013 Seat Ibiza Cupra - Facelift

Seat has revealed the facelift version of the Ibiza Cupra, the production version of the concept shown at the Worthersee this year.

It will be powered by now very familiar 1.4-TSI engine with 180 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h will be 6.9 seconds and it will hit top speed of 228 km/h, impressive numbers.

They gave the Cupra new makeover which includes new headlights, bumpers and hood design, also LED daytime as standard.

It will be avaliable in Britain soon next year, starting prices from £18,825.

2014 Corvette C7 - engine revealed

The engine of the next generation of famous Corvette has been speculated a lot, the main question was if they will keep small block V8 or downsize it to V6. The answer is here now.

2014 Corvette will be avaliable with 6.2-liter V8 engine with approximately 450 hp. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h will be under 4 seconds and it will be more fuel efficient then the old model, predicted to make 26 mpg.

Porsche Boxter 981 by SpeedART

SpeedART has launched new tuning program for Porsche Boxster 981, called SP81-R.

Stage 1 package includes new exhaust system with sport catalysts and manifolds/headers which adds 20 hp and 20 Nm of torque to the standard Boxsters power, the Boxster 2.7-liter boxer with 261 hp and Boxster S with 311 hp, 3.4-liter boxer.

The stage 2 includes ECU remap to add another 30 hp and 30 Nm of torque. They are also preparing bolt-on turbo kit, which will add to the Boxster S 80 hp and lighter, titanium exhaust system.

Fisker Karma - new color everyday SEMA

Fisker will be showing their model Karma at the SEMA Motor Show in a new way, everyday of the show in diffrent color.

It won't be just a normal paint. It will be a foil, protected by 3M's Diamond Protection Film which, quoted ''virtually invisible paint protection film that helps maintain the Karma's dramatic design aesthetic and resale value by preventing rock chips and damage from other road debris". And at the car of that value, every extra protection is welcome.
