Samsung to deliver the very first 4TB HDD by April

Even if there are still some incopatibilities between hard drives larger than 2 TB and most of desktops on the market, this doesn't stops large scale brands to develop larger sizes.

Samsung is already preparing their 4 TB models. The first 4 TB hard drive is being build in the traditional 3.5 inch size and it's using a 4 disk configuration, each hosting 1 TB. This belongs to Spinpoint EcoGreen series with 5400 RPM spinning disks. The new model connects via SATA 6Gbps and has a 32 MB cache memory.
