As many of you know, the famous Gumball3000 rally was being held last week, with participants covering 3000 miles between Dublin ( IRL ) and Bucharest ( ROU ), this year the last checkpoing before finish happened in my hometown.
Managed to skip work for a couple of hours and took some photos, they are not the greatest, place was crowded, very crowded.

With the 2016 CES event happening in Las Vegas, we get to see some incredible things from some of the brightest people. This year, an electric racecar like none other was unveiled and it is absolutely incredible. It's called Faraday Future FFZERO1 and it is "more than a concept car - it is a car of concepts." The FFZERO1 is a electric racecar capable of generating over 1,000 hp and that doesn't even scratch the surface of how amazing this car really is.

You might be deceived by the looks and consider this a concept, but hear this, this is real and it will be built for both track and road legal.
It is Lotus' most radical, fastest and most expensive model. Called the 3-Eleven, it's considered an "uncompomised manifestation of the Lotus spirit".

The time has come to meet the SV variant of the ultimate bull, the Aventador SuperVeloce. It looks just as you'd expect from a hardcore SV, with redesigned aerodynamic package, features a lot more aggressive body panels, starting with the front splitter, air vents, finished in carbon fiber.
Sideskirts are also finished in carbon, upper flaps and a massive wing on the back also suffer from the same treatment. The rear bumper has been radically redesigned with a lower carbon diffuser, darker tail lights, makes the rear look a lot more dramatic.

Porsche has finally revealed the most hardcore, road going, 911 variant, the GT3 RS. The pinacle of this model is it's weight, it sums up to 1420kg, due to it's aluminium body, combined with magnesium roof and carbon fiber inserts.
It also features all sorts of aerodynamic gimnicks, like proeminent vented front fenders, ducktail like spoiler, which pushes the car even more at high speeds, front lip and rear apron were modified.

FIA GT3 welcomes a new contender, the GT3 from Mercedes Benz, based on their latest GT model. The recipe contains all the goodies you would expect from a GT racer, a wide carbon fiber bodykit, with all sorts of air vents and sophisticated ventilation systems. New doors took shelter, a pure race bred rear diffuser and the predominant GT wing.
Inside is all race, with a carbon fiber seat, racing steering wheel and switches and a steel roll cage and all sorts of carbon fiber trim.

It is a 24 limit production track oriented beast and it's nothing Aston Martin did before. After a few teases here and there, with a high revving flamey engine, Aston Martin took the wraps off their Vulcan.
As stated, it will be a limited production run model and we have to say, it's a twist that Aston Martin took with it, which might not please all their customers, but we're sure that new customers will be drawn to this.

It's been a while since we were teased about a radical P1 and McLaren delivered, it's their track-ready P1 GTR. So let's start with the numbers, power output of 1000HP, which is from the both electrical and combustion engines. Turning it into a track-toy, has widened the front track by 80mm and the car sits lower by 50mm. McLaren states that they reduced the overall weight by 50kg, due to motorsport solutions.
Side windows are made of racing polycarbonate, the glass roof has been replaced by carbon fiber, the same treatment happened to the engine cover.
