Fernando Alonso is the winner of Valencia Grand Prix 2012!
If you missed this race, you missed one of the most thrilling races this year. First half was more of a pure driving, without any major suprises. The things got serious in second half, after the safety car drove off the track.
The pole position holder Sebastian Vettel had amazing start, the best one in the race. He held his 1st position right up to the 29th lap, when Heikki Kovalainen and Jean Eric Vergne had collision and the safety car was on the track. Vergne had to cancel the race because of the destroyed rear right rim, but Kovalainen managed to get to the pits for repair.
Lots of bad luck for Red Bull and Lotus-Renault team in the continuation of the race. Both Vettel and Grosjean had to cancel the race due to the electrical (Red Bull) and alternator problem (Lotus-Renault).
In the last lap, Hamilton and Maldonado was strugling for 3rd place, but it ended up in crashing Hamilton's Mclaren and Maldonado ending up on 10th place.
A thrilling race with lots of turn arounds.
