Volkswagen Golf R 400

How's 400HP coming from a Golf R, nothing that couldn't be done, eh? But, how's 400HP coming straight from VW and not aftermarket tuning? Caught your attention, good, here goes.

We have a 2.0L unit  which develops 400HP and 450NM of torque, how? Well, VW did changed the turbo unit, with a high spool one and reinforced crank case.

The unit is hooked to the 4motion system and a 6-speed DSG gearbox and it's enough to plow the car to 100km.h in 3.9s.

BMW Vision Luxury Concept

BMW steps up the Premium brand and expresses what luxury really means by their terms. With the latests Vision Luxury Concept, which hints towards the look of the 7 Series, they showed a coupe-ish 4 door shape with no B Pillar, dipped into a Liquid Platinum Bronze paint, with large kidney grilles and laserd lights.

Being lightweight built, the chasis is build of carbon fiber, with other carbon goodies along the bodywork, like grille spats, air breathers and deflectors. Tail lights are something new, which BMW describes as OLED.

Honda Civic TypeR

This is the news all the JDM fans has been waiting for, yes, Honda released information of the following TypeR Civic and boy we do like it!

Honda just said this "a race car for the road", they preview the next year's Civic TypeR, which features and aerodynamic body, with fender flares, lower bumper valances, lower skirts, a drop in stance and large wheels.

The engine will be a turbocharged 2.0L unit, which will probably have around 280HP and if we're to judge what they said, they going to beat the Nurgburgring lap record.

Skoda VisionC Concept

With the Geneva Auto Show happening, all the car makers are competing with one of a kind concepts, the Czech automaker Skoda, shows us a 5 door Coupe, named VisionC and it's green.

Besides being that green, the car's wow factor comes from the drag coefficient, a whooping 0.26, thanks to it's "emotionally-charged design", how the design team calls it.

Engine is a 1.4TSi unit, Euro 6 compliant, kicks 110HP and reaches 214km.h.

MINI Clubman Concept

Prior to Geneva's Auto Salon, MINI has revealed near-production Clubman Concept. This right here, is the largest MINI, measuring 4223mm long, 1844mm wide and 1450mm tall. Comparing it with the previous model, this one features four frameless front-hinged doors while the split rear doors have been retained.

The interior looks more conceptual than the exterior, MINI sustains that this is a hint of what we can expect from the future models - premium materials, like real wood, with chrome and alluminium inserts, LCD displays with all sorts of informations.

Volvo Estate Concept

If you remember the times when Estate cars were only meant to large families, they were specifically being built for being practical, the looks wasn't on top priority list.

But, a few years ago, everything changed, the Estate cars have wonderful shapes, they attract even the most critic eye and aren't meant for families only.

This just happened with Volvo, which revealed their Estate Concept, which is based on their new SPA platform (Scalable Product Architecture) - and it looks absolutely gorgeous, just look at that full roof glass panel. Volvo also worked on the spacious interior, with quality materials and live colors.

2014 Mini John Cooper Works

This doesn't look like a concept to us and we hope the production model, which will arrive later this year, will look the same.

The car is painted in a funky color named Bright Highways Grey, doubled with red accents. We can spot aggressive styling along the bodywork, there's also a boot spoiler and the car sits on 18" alloys - a true hot-hatchback.

Although tech specs weren't revealed, we expect a 2.0L gasoline unit, which develops around 220HP.
