Team Project: Porsche Mission E

In a late evening chat between the team members, we had a spark of idea, "we should do a team "chop", just like the good old days. The seed has been planted and so we searched for a subject, we all agreed on Mission E, as it had the classic Porsche lines, but with a twist. We loved the buldgy fenders and the low waist line, but it was a 4-door coupe, so that had to go away.

2015 ML24 Mercedes-Benz GLK X204 Wide Body Kit

Our partners over at ML24 released a concept drawing of a potential new bodykit. This time, its for the 2012-2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK X204. Shown in both matte metallic gunmetal wrap and bright, highlighter wrap colours (homage to Mercedes' very own 4x4 AMG G-wagens), the ML24 GLK concept is completely off-road and adventure-based.

BMW 2002 Turbo Hommage

It's that time of year, Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este will showcase the most exclusive cars and whatnot. As per usual, BMW always displays a special concept or hommage, or both.

This time, they paid a tribute to the very special 2002 turbo model, which was their first car to feature turbocharged technology and it was one of the most appreciated car in those times.

Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato

"Over the years, we have developed and refined our own design language and we have always gone that little bit further with our special series cars like CC-100, One-77 and The Vulcan . The Vanquish Zagato Concept shows how our two companies can come together and push the definition of Aston Martin design", said Marek Reichman, Aston's Executive VP and Chief Creative Officer.

Toyota GT-86 Shooting Brake Concept

Toyota Australia just revealed a Shooting Brake concept version of the already successful FRS also known as the GT-86. This one-off unique, hand-built prototype looks much like the current version of the coupe, but it sports an elongated hatch-style trunk and roof that is very much functional. The rest of the car still features that sporty, agressive look. Although this will likely stay as a concept car, it's interesting to see how versatile the GT-86 is, in terms of design.

2017 Lexus LC 500

The Lexus LF-LC Concept first debuted in 2012 and it looked rather promising. It vowed to deliver stability, high-performance, and dynamic driving capabilities. Four years later, the production version is finally ready to roll out and it's properly labeled as the Lexus LC 500. Lexus states that this is their most "athletic" flagship coupe yet, and it looks to be that way. We can definitely see the direction they want to take for their future production cars.
