BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé

In association with BMW Group, Pininfarina studios unveiled their latest project named BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé which will be presented at this year's Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

As most of you know Pininfarina S.p.A. (short for Carozzeria Pininfarina) is an independent Italian car design firm and coach builder in Cambiano, Italy. It was founded by Battista "Pinin" Farina in 1930. They are employed by a wide variety of automobile manufactures to design vehicles. These firms have included long established customers such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Fiat, GM, Lancia, and Maserati and now BMW. As it's visible from these sketches, the whole idea is to mix BMW's luxury and Pininfarina's famous elegance and creativity.

As far as the engine goes, it's clearly visible from the emblems on the side of the car that BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé will be featuring a V12 engine.
