With the delivery date closing in for BMW's performance hybrid, reviews are popping in. With complicated and advanced technology, gorgeous looks ( I have seen this car live ), everybody agrees that BMW is offering the car of the future.
But ( there always is a but ), functionality has a way of alter form, as in rims are large in diameter, but lack width and the car has fender gap and other complains - here is where we came in, the idea and execution stands in our hands and with the power of Photoshop and advanced 3D rendering software, we offer you a more aggressive model.
Stance is very important for every car, wheels are said to make it or break it, either way they make 50% of the car. For this project I asked Matt Law from ML24, which just released a whole line of wheels, in partnership with ISS Forged, to render me a special F1-15M monoblock model, finished in matte black, with custom center locks, color coded yellow.
The model received rear carbon fiber deflectors/diffusers, modified the sideskirt and attached a carbon fiber blade, also worked a bit on the front fender, the well being slightly larger so it can host the F1-15M wheel.
In my eyes, the i8 is BMW's long craved supercar and I had to apply an eye popping Yellow color, as all supercars should wear - that, combined with the glossy black and carbon fiber details - are a timeless combination.
Everything you see here, can eventually be developed and turned into real aftermarket package.
I also added two variations of 3-piece F1-15 model and other colors for F1-15M, let us know which one is your favorite.
