You know how it is when you wake up in the morning, have the things planned for the entire day and know, that being in the automotive world, there's always new and exciting stuff waiting to be discovered, or in this case, getting an official announcement.
I'm talking about the ultra-teased new Aston Martin Vanquish. For me, it was the most pleasant surprise of the day and it's barely past noon.
Being Aston Martin, we can expect both elegant and sportiveness going hand in hand and it does. The new Vanquish, has a new elegant waist, prolonged side lines, coming off the panel vents, One-77 inspired tail lights blades and a new aero-duct on the boot, which formes the stylish spoiler.
More tech information is that the entire body is made of alluminium, magnesium and carbon fiber composites, which improves the weight by 13% lightness than DBS and the rigidity structure is a whole 25% improved.
The engine, is a V12 unit with 5.933cc, being able to pull 573hp at 6,750rpm and a maximum torque of 620Nm at 5,500rpm. The 0-100Km/H sprint is done in 4.1 seconds, while the top speed is 295Km/H.
