You know that feeling when you leave your neighborhood for a while, come back and all the kid next door that you knew, is all teen now? Well, pretty much this happened with the Cayman, left alone for a while, went to the gym and now it's a baby GT3, but with a manual!
So what's all the fuss with the GT4? It's supposed to be a statement, that Porsche never gave up the development of 2-door sports cars and probably never will.
The GT4 sits 30mm lower, features a more aggressive body styling, with lower front fascia, larger air scoops on the sides a fixed mounted rear wing and middle exhaust system. Stopping power comes from the 911 GT3, how about that? (Ceramic brakes are optionals).
At the core, a 3.8L flat six unit capable of developing 385 HP. This is for the purists, the engine is hooked to a six-speed manual tranny, which helps the car launch to 100km.h in 4.4s.
The car is available for ordering in Germany for a hefty sum of €85,779, deliveries will start somewhere in July, expect to see the car debut in Geneva.
