Let's face it, we've been expecting it ever since they announced the ST model and Ford didn't let us down, here's what the "new kid on the block" can do.
Engine, yes, there's EcoBoost, the same 2.3L unit that powers the Mustang and it develops 315HP and it's AWD and it has a 6-speed manual gearbox, which was updated to match the new torque - an exact figure hasn't been released yet.
Visually, the RS comes in standard 19" wheels, wrapped around Pilot Super Sport but customers will be able to opt for Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
For the exhaust system, Ford has chosen a large bore dual exhaust, with electronically-controlled valve in charge of optimizing noise output and the balance of the back pressure.
Inside you get all the goodies you'd expect from a performance car, there's even more profiled Recaro seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminium pedals, a 10-speaker SONY audio system and the consacrated gauges on top of the center console, which read the oil pressure, oil temperature and turbo boost.
The RS will be offered with Nitrous Blue, Frozen White, Absolute Black and Stealth Gray paint schemes, what you see in the images "Liquid Blue" is for marketing purpose only and yes, it's the Ford GT's color.
