After we saw first leaked pictures of the new C7 testing, Chevrolet announces special 427 Convertible edition (and probably last edition) of Corvette C6. This particular model was shown at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, AZ.
Apart from special badging, wheels and graphics, this 427 Convertible features engine from Z06, which develops 505hp from it's 7.0l V8. That means, in short, most powerful convertible ever made by this American automaker. Arctic White paint, Pearl Silver Blue stripes and a Diamond Blue leather interior are included in 60th Anniversary Package that also comes with the car. Another interesting thing about this car is the fact that it will be auctioned for charity on Saturday 21st. Noble thing from Chevrolet, indeed.
