First - hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break and Happy Holidays!
This was a client project I did a while back, the project didn't go through and it won't be built, so I'm sharing it with you guys now. This project was pretty intense, pages of ideation sketches, mechanical design, detailed modeling, etc. Everything you see here was made in 3D CAD.
The goal was to create an extreme Hotrod Concept with innovative design. The vehicle is based off the 1933 hotrod by Factory Five, and the engine is from a Maserati. Up front, we have chrome-plated headlamp housings and a clear acrylic grill. Right behind that, we have horizontal suspension (which was originally intended to show off products for a sponsor). The vehicle sits low and stanced thanks to air suspension.
And yes, those are massive wheels! I believe those are 24" wheels in the back, and i forgot how wide they are... Also on the side are custom side exhausts. The interior is finished in tan with black and silver accents (very simplistic and clean interior, main focus was on the exterior). Special thanks to my buddy at ZDF, Zaluski Design and Fabrication, for helping with the mechanical design.
Here are more photos, enjoy!
