Hey guys, the ones that are still active - we need to revive the forums!

So, what would you like to see - as in terms of new - on the forums?

Forum is a bit slow lately, agree...

Like I mentioned before, I think we should ''expand'' to more car related forum in general.

Maybe new section about car news, ''new'' members introducing themselves and their cars, a section about motorsport etc.

We need to get rid of weekly races and the drag races (even/odd).
They never get used anymore.

Why did all our old members leave to never really show up again? It could be that they just moved on with life, but it might be that there is never really anything going on. There are competitions like the monthly competition, but I remember a few years ago members would duke it out in the Drag Race section and the Weekly Race section. I guess it gave more of an incentive to chop. I believe we can get more members to chop if we host a huge competition like UB with prizes. It will bring members that have been chopping and it will also bring new members who want to try. Might bring life back into the forums.

And if it does, we can't go back to being inactive. More user base = more word being spread out about PSG!

I think I a lot of them sort of moved on, I know I did from chopping at least, acquired other interests and so on. I also think that running a lot of reoccurring competitions every week AND every month can get a little stale and kind of repetitive after a while, certainly if there isn't that many people joining them.

So basically, more variance and more concentration on certain competitions. You can vary everything from theme (as they are used atm) , to time limit (1 hour, 2 weeks, 3.5 days), to restrictions (you have to use the mouse with the 'wrong' hand). I think that could bring some freshness, perhaps. Might be totally wrong, but wth

Some of what you say it's true, that some of them might found new interests, but it can't happen to ALL. Besides, autemo for example is still quite active - so there's still interest in chopping.

If we can't revive the forums, it's alright, means we are grown up and move on. Been speaking with Illu and we should focus more on the main page and blog. We must revive the speculative activity, because it brought us huge spikes of visitors, especially if other blogs mentioned us.
