Hello and thanks for reading the 1st Chop of the Month feature for 2011. I'm still thinking if i made the right choice with my vote, after seeing so many and so awesome chops, I'm sure it was a difficult vote for you, wasn't it?
This time we got 2 new users that won this month's prize, finally some diversity, although Sam is stubborn, he still wins in his class, guess he really is a great Chopper. On the other hand, Seljakboy played hard last month, registering 2 awesome chops in the Streets area and the winner chop in CS class. Couldn't trick Zero tho, which took the cookie for his class.
Let's get along with this feature!

Q: What or who made you use Photoshop?
A: I started chopping when i use to go on a online car mmorpg game, while browsing member profiles I saw someone who had chops on his profile with a link to ps-garage. I thought it was pretty awesome so i decided to try out ps-garage and sign up and here I am now.
Q: When did you start virtually modifying cars?
A: I done my 1st chop in Sept 07 on my old account, after that I had pc virus problems for a few months, then for Christmas I got a new computer off Santy so I got back onto Ps-g to complete my 2nd chop in Jan 08.
Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?
A: I get my inspiration from browsing a couple of chopping forums and seeing some awesome chops. I also visit a couple car blogs where I see new cars posted and then I think to myself what could I do to make this car look better.
Bonus Question: What's your average time spent on a chop?
A: Usually I spend 5/6 hours on my chops over a week, so i'm not really a big addict of PS haha

Q: When did you start virtual tuning?
A: Started virtual tuning back in 2007, when joined ps-g. Saw these extremely beautiful and realistic cars, immediately fell in love with chopping and everything related to it.
Q: What's your motivation for virtually tuning cars?
A: My main motivation for chopping is, well, competition, I really like to compete and showoff my skills
Q: Do you use Photoshop for anything else, or you focus your skills for virtual tuning?
A: I use it for everything... Photo editing, graphics, wallpapers...everything, but most of the time for chopping.
Bonus Question: In your virtual tuning career, what was the factor that helped you improve your skills
A: Well, the main factor for improving my skill was, once again, competition...Still PS-G members helped me a lot with their comments and criticism, and advices! Thanks everyone

Q: You think people should be proud of their work, even if the don't really like it?
A: Yes. When you learned something new or improved while working on it, you can be proud of it. So unless you really didn't spend any time or effort in it, every chop counts in the progress of improving.
Q: Do you plan your chops ahead, eg. color, kits, rims?
A: Most of the times I start a chop with a fairly good idea of what I want. But I change a lot of details along the way.
Q: You agree with the "frenzy" chopping? Finish one, start another one ASAP!
A: Don't know if it is something to agree on or not. I don't do it. I just start a chop when I got a nice idea. Even when the chop I'm working on isn't even finished... When I had more time I did the same thing though. When one was finished I started another one right away. Can't stop doing what you love I guess!
Bonus Question: How many WIPs you got in your folder? :D
A: I recently finished some of my longtime wips and deleted a few that I knew I would never finish. Now there are 13 wips left, of which 10 are chops and 3 toons. So still a lot of work. But one of those wips is almost finished and an entirely new chop is coming up, but that one is a secret so hush!
Now, I really wonder what's that secret project..
Thank you fellas, for all your answers, were awesome, as usual. I sure hope that you, our readers, find them useful.

Remember! Whenever you got an idea, open Photoshop and "paint" it on the canvas!

Glad it has been fixed!
