Opel Adam ROCKS Concept

Opel is hinting at a new segment of the market with this so-called urban mini crossover which is 3700mm long and has a three-door open-air body style. Compared to the regular Adam, this concept is 15mm higher and features a 20mm wider stance. We also notice a central exhaust, body cladding on the bumpers and wheel arches, along with front and rear skid plates.

The Opel ADAM ROCKS concept comes with a fabric retractable roof, similar to the one on the Fiat 500C or the Citroen DS3 Cabrio. Opel and Vauxhall sources have confirmed a cabrio version of the Adam which is expected to go on sale late next year.

BMW i3 Concept Coupe

Here at ps-garage we rarely post about concept cars, but this one caught our eye. It's not the "cool-looking" it is (sure, it looks great), but it's the adaptability and suitability that really made us post about this concept.

Concept cars are usually ridiculous and outrageous (hence, their good looks). The BMW i3 Concept was originally something of fantasy - with its unique architecture and glass doors and floating panels. But BMW's most recent revision of this concept suddenly made it totally practical, and we might just see it on the road in the near future.

Kia Track'ster Concept

During the Chicago Auto Show, the Korean automaker, finally revealed this track worthy crossover, the Track'ster! Before we hype up, I must assure you that there are no plans to produce this, sadly!

So what's the point of this? Kia shows us how you can turn a dream come true. With a 2L turbo-charged, 4-cylinder engine, being capable to develop 250HP, puts the power down by the help of an all wheel drive system, electronically controlled and of course a six-speed manual transmission.

All that power needs stopping force, behind the massive 19" HRE wheels, there are 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston for the rear.

2013 Nissan Invitation Concept

Nissan has revealed their attempt on the B-segment, which is called the Invitation.
A tall roof line, spacious interior, compact bodywork could hint us this could be the next Note. However, this car will join the other city cars, like the Micra and Juke crossover.

Inovation wise, this car brags around with ultra-low CO2 emissions (under 100g/km) and fuel efficiency, a true form of Pure Drive system.

"The name we have given to this concept is self-explanatory... the key benefit of this compact car is to be inviting.

Seat Mii City Car

Mii model has already been announced a while ago, right after VW released their Up! concept and Skoda with their Citigo. It's well known that both Mii and Citigo are based on the Up! platform, but the market being so big, it's good to have a choice.

The new reveal, is a 5-door hatchback, which, of course, is more practical.

The five-door is the perfect expansion to our Mii line-up: just as sporty, just as dynamic, but with a considerable increase in usability”, said Seat vice president for Research and Development Dr. Matthias Rabe.

“With its low weight and modern drives, the Mii is both sporty and efficient at the same time. This applies especially to the Ecomotive model with its exceptionally low consumption and emissions figures.”
