Well, we reached that point, at least with this model, where Subaru, or should I say, Toyobaru? finally shows the cards.
This is it, Subaru's highly anticipated version of the FT-86(Toyota), the BRZ model.
Sure it has some key differences, like the !wowzor! aggressive front bumper, buldgy fenders, quad exhaust for the rear and a big wing.
As for the performance, there's AWD, a 2.0L boxer engine, which develops 200HP, but my 2 cents go towards 300.

TMG LAP RECORD DETAILS
Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) has revealed further details of its plan to make Nürburgring history on 29 August by setting a new electric vehicle (EV) lap record on the demanding 20.832km Nordschleife.
The Toyota FT-86 has come to its final stages before the production model and a spy photographer from WCF.com spotted this one testing in Germany.
When we look at the shape of this model it looks like Toyota went for a styling that holds the balance between the FT-86 concept and the later FT-86 II concept. The side panels resemble those of the FT-86 II while the front and rear end are a lot less agresssive. More like seen on the first concept.

This might be an indication that the long awaited Toyota FT-86 II will be brought to the public under the more youth oriented brand Scion. On these pictures we can see a different front, without the DRL looking more like the first version of the FT-86. The rear is even more aggressive now with a bigger diffuser.
