When will a Korean automaker create an affordable, rear wheel drive sports car? Maybe Kia? The Korean companies have grown a lot in recent years, their vehicles have improved greatly in many aspects, most notably the exterior and interior design. But have they really captured what the enthusiast market really want?
Earlier this week, ML24 by Matthew Law released the designs for the Subaru BRZ versions of their FR-S body kits. The product release included BRZ versions of their Scion FR-S wide body over-fenders and BRZ version of their Scion FR-S Aero Lip Kit.
ML24 by Matthew Law released images of their Scion FR-S Aero Lip Kit. Previously shown with the over-fenders, these renderings display only the aero lip kit, which fit right over the OEM body.
ML24 launched their Scion FR-S Wide Body Kit which consists of the Wide Body Fender Arches and Aero Lip Kit today. The Wide Body Fender Arches were first shown on Pat Cyr's Drift Scion FR-S. As we previously posted here, Pat Cyr will be running his FRS in the upcoming 2013 Drift Season.
ML24 also released more details today on how the body kits were designed and built:
Hey guys! February is halfway through and so the monthly competition is still open until the 29th. The theme this month is the Subaru BRZ. It has a lot of potential and is a great looking car overall. Any style is alright, as long as you chop a BRZ.

Newest thing that comes from the garage of well know tuner of Subaru models Prova, is Subaru's newest hot sport coupe - the BRZ.
The, so called, BRZ Black Edition features new body kit that includes front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear wing and a black custom paintjob with the orange pinstripes. It runs on 19" Enkei alloy wheels wrapped in performance tires. New BRZ Black edition will also have improved brakes, a high-performance central mounted exhaust and Recaro bucket seats. The stock audio system has also been improved.
New Year's Eve is literally knocking on our door, so we decided to give 2011 a one last blow, with this ultra-hyped Subaru model, the BRZ.
Recently, George, was added to our Exclusive team and we thought he should make his debut in style.

I got the project to design the AEM Subaru for the new, upcoming season. The car was debuted at the 2011 SEMA Show and features various exterior and interior modifications, ranging from powertrain upgrades to interior audio system. I also designed the previous version (last year), but this year we wanted an innovative, eye-catching livery wrap.
