Sebastian Vettel is the winner of the 2012 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.

After another unlucky Hamilton's race, Sebastian Vettel managed to finish first in the longest race in 2012 calendar. Safety car was deployed two times - first time in lap 33 after Narain Karthikeyan crashed his car in the wall, second time in lap 41 when Michael Schumacher made a rookie mistake and drove his car in Vergne's Torro Rosso. While it was pretty dangerous situation, Michael haven't earned one race ban like Romain Grosjean in Belgium.

Nico Rosberg was the fastest man on the last, third, practice session in Monaco this year. He made time of 1m15.159s which was enough to place himself in front of, once again, Felipe Massa.

In the qualifying session, fastest man was Michael Schumacher. He made time of 1m14.301s and placed himself on the top of the grid -  sad news for him though, he will start 5th because of the penalty.

Nico Rosberg will be starting from the pole on tomorrow's race in China!

Another clear example of Mercedes dominance in qualifications! Nico finished 0.505s before Lewis Hamilton in McLaren. 0,663s slower was Michael Schumacher in Mercedes.

For the first time in 2 years, Sebastian Vettel in Red Bull failed to enter round 3. He placed 11th with the time of 1m36.031s.

Lewis Hamilton was the fastest man on both practice sessions today with the best time set on first practice session of 1m38.021s, proving again how McLaren is actually fast this season.

Second fastest time of the sessions was Michael Scumacher's time - 1m38.533s, which is more than half a second slower then Lewis's time. 

Sebastian Vettel's best time on session one was just 0.002s slower than Michael's time on session two.

On last practice round, we finally saw some nice, warm, and most important, dry weather. That actually meant that teams can finally show what they really got!

And they showed. Very fast Lewis Hamilton in McLaren took first place from Roman Grosjean in Lotus in last seconds, shaving his time by just 0.077s, and finishing with time of 1m25.681s. Behind them was Mark Webber in Red Bull struggling to catch up.

So it officially started, F1 is back, and for every single F1 fan it's the most exciting weekend of the year!

Although fair part of the Europe (including me) had problems getting up around 2 AM to watch first practice session, don't worry - you haven't missed a lot. The rain was pouring before the session started, soaking the fair amount of the track. Of course that meant slower times, full-wet tires, less laps..etc.

Formula 1 season unofficially started with the testing in Jerez, Spain.

The fastest man on the track on day one was Kimi Raikkonen in Lotus. He set time of 1:19.670 which is even faster than last year's first time set by Felipe Massa.
