Once with the new Ford Fusion ( Mondeo in European Market ) unveil, at the Detroit Motor SHow, Ford also presented the new NASCAR version, based on this model.

What Ford states, is that the design team had 3 main objectives to achieve, when they designed the new racer, they had to make it look, as close as possible, like the stock version, including the brand design, the proportions and the design cues in car's profile and front grille.

A while ago I got the project to redesign K&N Air Filters' Infiniti G35 race car for 2011 Redline Time Attack events and series. The first two renderings, the orange and yellow wraps, were my initial pitches. The matte black and gray design was the production version. The race car is currently racing in the 2011 Redline Time Attack series driven by Paul Brown of K&N Motorsports.
