After 21 years, Nissan announced that they are ressurecting the Datsun nameplate, making this the 3rd brand under Nissan, along Infiniti.
Datsun is supposed to be a lower-cost option for the markets that don't afford buying a Nissan. The cars will be packed with more economical engines, even more extras at lower costs.
Sadly, Datsun will be developed and sold for the markets that are constantly growing, like Indonesia, India and Russia, so don't expect any model around your area, except if you live in the already mentioned areas.
