2016 Honda Civic TypeR

2016 Honda Civic TypeRAfter all the teasing, spies, more teasing and more spies, the real deal is here, here is the new Civic TypeR and it comes with a pompous name "a race car for the road".

Exterior wise, Honda really went all in, it features a wide-body aerodynamic kit, with large flares, large front air intakes and generous bumper splitter. Along the back, there's an aggressive diffuser, 4 round tail pipes and a devilish looking spoiler - which unfortunately, didn't house the concept LED tails.

Let's face it, we've been expecting it ever since they announced the ST model and Ford didn't let us down, here's what the "new kid on the block" can do.
Engine, yes, there's EcoBoost, the same 2.3L unit that powers the Mustang and it develops 315HP and it's AWD and it has a 6-speed manual gearbox, which was updated to match the new torque - an exact figure hasn't been released yet.

The engine will be a turbocharged 2.0L unit, which will probably have around 280HP and if we're to judge what they said, they going to beat the Nurgburgring lap record.

Opel Astra OPC Extreme

This would be an interesting sight on the road. Developed around the Nordschleife and especially derived from the OPC Cup Racer, the OPC Extreme features an all-alluminium engine, capable of developing over 300 horse power. You can easily notice the race bred, as it features all sorts of weight saving options, from the engine cover, to the wheels in carbon fiber. You can spot an roll cage as well, a carbon roof, hood - front fenders are alluminium and weight under one kilo.

No performance figures were revealed, other than the 6 pot Brembo brakes, hidden behind 19" wheels, wrapped around 245/35 especially designed tires.

This doesn't look like a concept to us and we hope the production model, which will arrive later this year, will look the same.

The car is painted in a funky color named Bright Highways Grey, doubled with red accents. We can spot aggressive styling along the bodywork, there's also a boot spoiler and the car sits on 18" alloys - a true hot-hatchback.

Although tech specs weren't revealed, we expect a 2.0L gasoline unit, which develops around 220HP.

2014 Seat Leon Cupra
Latest Leon Cupra model break cover, with it's 265HP or 280HP for the Cupra 280, it is the most powerful road going car Seat has ever done.

The car is capable of doing 0-100km.h sprint in 5.7s, thanks to a torque of 350NM, equipped with the DSG transmission and 0.1s slower with the manual transmission.

Mercedes Benz A-Class by Inden Design and Binz

Every once in a while, tuners collaborate to make things even better, which is this case, with the A-Class.

So, you take the new A-Class, equip it with AMG sports package and for the rest, tuners work it out. They installed a carbon fiber flap at the bottom front section, while the side skirts' covers received a carbon fiber replacement while the back shows a new diffuser made from the same lightweight material. These two cars also come with the quad exhaust setup which can be found on the C63 Black Series.
