Infiniti Using Nissan GT-R as Platform

Rumor has it that Infiniti will come out with a new model based on the supercar Nissan GT-R. No one is sure what the specifications will be, but it may be similar to the Nissan GT-R's 525 Horsepower, 3.8 liter twin-turbocharged engine.

In addition, Infiniti is known to be luxuries, meaning we may see a luxurious supercar in the making. Something suitable for those who want speed with comfort. However, don't expect this vehicle to be unveiled this year, because it was said that it may take to two or three years before even seeing a concept.

Spied - GT3 R35 on track

One of the speedhunter.com readers grabbed a few spy shots of an uncommon GTR, which was private test among the GT1 cars on Aragon Circuit in Spain. He clearly specified that the engine notes were different than GT1 cars, sounding more VR38 than a V8.

More information was released by NISMO's press release, but without any pictures.
