ABT Sportsline, a tuning company based in Germany, announces their new tuning package for the Volkswagen Beetle 2.0 TDI. The package will include modifications to both the body and the engine of the Beetle, making it look and feel sportier!

The 2.0 TDI engine produces 168HP and packs 370Nm of torque, while the stock Beetle only has 140HP and 320Nm of torque. This additional kick allows the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 8.8 seconds.

Aside from the engine, ABT has done some great work on the exterior as well. Their aerodynamic body kit makes the Beetle look much more sleek. The new bonnet gives an aggressive look to it. ABT also added in tuned suspensions, brakes, and custom ABT 18 to 20 inch wheels.

Europe's smallest crossover gets a few muscles, in the latest tuning program from ABT.
The German tuner rounds the TDi engine power output to 203 HP and the TFSi engine to 267HP.

As for the chassis improvements, a new set of coilover suspension helps stiffening the ride, as well as lightweight wheels, ranging from 18" to 21" sizes.

For exterior, there are numerous options, new bumpers and rear aprons that feature quad-pipe systems, as well as new grille.

ABT doesn't lose time, the new A3 has just been announced and the German tuner already started working on a tuning program, called AS3.

As usual, ABT does things completely, with aero package which include new spoiler, rear spoiler and side skirts. Suspension modifications contain a coilover system, new lightweight wheels and enlarged brake discs.

On the performance note, they re-mapped the ECU for both 2.0L engines(petrol and diesel), the TFSI engine pumps up 250HP and the diesel 200HP.

Since the A5 "suffered" from a facelift, tuners also moulded their tuning programs, after the restyling. 
That being said, A5 gets a new ABT treatment, with new front lip spoiler, revised sideskirts, ventilated fenders, new diffuser and a trunk lip spoiler.
Customers can order coilover suspension, 19-20" alloys, performance brakes and a sport exhaust.

As for what's under the hood, for the 2.0TFSi engine, the power output can be bended up to 270HP, that's around 60hp increase. In the economy class, the 3.0TDi engine, can be tuned up to 300HP, that's a 55hp increase.
