2015 Frankfurt Motor Show Highlights

The 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show just took place in Germany and it was absolutely incredible. The cars that were showcased turned out to be more than awesome. Words can't describe how crazy the automobile industry is becoming in terms of technology and design. Everything from DTM to electric cars were featured here and the future looks mighty bright from what we've seen so far. There were tons of cars to be seen, but we picked out a handful that really highlighted the entire show.

Porsche GT4 RS Speculative

Porsche GT4 RS SpeculativeHere's our interpretation of the RS version of the recently unveiled GT4. In a few words, we tweaked the aerodaynamics a little, rear bumper features side vents, side skirts are slightly lower and more aerodynamic, engine scoop behind the door is now carbon fiber for weight reduction. Front fender got the same treatment as the rear one, slightly enlarged, while the front one is ventilated.

Muscle car lover or not, but since the previous Z06 Corvette, Chevrolet entered the supercar game. Now, it's time for another one, the new Z06 carries the beautiful lines of the C7, with new features, like carbon aero parts, aggressive styling, a desirable color and an V8 engine ( we don't know if it's N/A or supercharged, yet ), that punches 620HP.

Car is being unveiled at Detroit Autoshow, seems like there will be a Z06 with Z07 Track Package, so stay close!

2015 Mercedes Benz S600
There were rumours that Benz is working in a higher class S600 model and following yesterday's rochure leaks, this confirms it.

The tech specs say that the S600's 6.0-liter bi-turbocharged V12 delivers 523HP, with an incredible 830Nm  torque. This will be a proper choice for those who want to be discreet but need the power and don't want tp choose the S65 AMG.

The model will make it's debut at Detroit Auto Show.

2015 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

Following the WRX launch in November 2013, enthusiasts all over the world were waiting for this and yes, Subaru didn't let us down, they have worked on the STi version of the WRX.

And boy it's not a letdown, the photos show us what we expected, a hotter WRX version, painted in World Rally Blue matched with golden alloy wheels and the massive rear spoiler, which admited or not, it is a statement.

There are no tech specs released, but the STI is rumored to get a larger 2.5-liter turbocharged four-banger with 300 bhp (224 kW) and 290 lb-ft (393 Nm).

2015 Lexus RC F

"Most powerful V8 performance car ever developed by Lexus." - let's see what makes the Lexus engineers say that. Obviously it's being powered by a V8 which is said to develop around 460hp (unconfirmed) and it propels the car from 0-100km in 4.5s.

2015 Ford Mustang

2015 Ford Mustang
After a lot of teasing, speculative rendering, some speculative modelling and some more teasing, Ford has pushed the "reveal button" of the new 2015 Mustang.

Taking a glipse at the exterior, Ford designers have taken a modern approach, but with inspiration from the past - take a look at the fastback line, which is one of the greatest characteristics. Others are LED DRL, LED tail lights and improved aestethics.

Honda NSX Concept-GT

Ready for the Super GT Series this weekend at Suzuka? Things just got a little more exciting as Honda just publicized the Honda NSX Concept-GT, the car that will be competing in the GT500 class.

As you can see in the photos below, the NSX sports an incredibly wide bodykit with menacing splitters. It's also seen with a carbon fiber lip, additional vents, and a gigantic spoiler. The NSX Concept-GT will be running on a 2.0-liter mid-mounted inline direct injection turbocharged engine, following the 2014 Japan Automotive Federation regulations for GT500 cars.
